Clinical Somatic Yoga

Somatic yoga helps the body by retraining both the muscles and the nervous system. Somatic yoga focuses on slow, mindful movements that teach the brain how to release long-held tension from within the body. Muscle tightness patterns can be attributed to the nervous system keeping those muscles contracted out of habit, often due to stress.
